Rotate Image

Why rotate an image?

Images may appear sideways or upside-down on your computer or after being posted online. The most obvious way to avoid an incorrect orientation is to maintain a good camera position when shooting an image.

However, if the photo is examined in software that ignores the orientation metadata, this may not be enough.

The camera or smartphone used to take the photo determines the default orientation. Most devices employ a sensor that determines the camera's location to save the orientation metadata. Unfortunately, because certain programs ignore the orientation tag, images will appear improperly.

Spin the photo 90 degrees left or right to change the image orientation from landscape to portrait or the other way around. Surprisingly, because the internal pixel data will be kept, the quality of rotated photographs should not deteriorate.

When it comes to image rotation, you may need to increase the attractiveness of the image or change the orientation from portrait to landscape, or vice versa. On the other hand, rotation isn't merely about image orientation.

It's a tool for making beautiful works of art, and adjusting an angle can improve the overall perception of the image. ResizePixel is one of a number of internet tools that can help you rotate an image.

ResizePixel's free photo rotator allows you to rotate a GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, WEBP, or TIFF image by 90 degrees left or right. Rotate the photo 180 or 270 degrees by turning it clockwise or counterclockwise multiple times.
